KNEC Begins Recruitment of KCSE Exam Assessors; How to Apply
The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) is hiring of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam assessors.
Between June 6 and July 28, KNEC Chief Executive Officer Dr. David Njengere will recruit secondary school teachers and college tutors to assess KCSE oral and practical examinations.
“The selected professionals will be trained on the job during assessment of the 2023 KCSE papers. Teachers or tutors who are already in the KNEC database of assessors need not to apply,” said Njengere, in a public notice.
Assessors for Power Mechanics, Electricity, Aviation Technology, French, German, and Arabic Oral, Kenya Sign Language (KSL) signing practical, and Music practical will be recruited.
A candidate must be a practicing tutor in the relevant subjects, registered or employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) or a recognised professional body in order to submit for recruitment.
They must also have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or the relevant area of specialization, a minimum of three years of teaching experience, and the recommendation of their respective institution’s heads.
