KMTC/Beyond Zero Scholarship Opportunities for Community Health Nursing Course: Apply
In a bid to enhance healthcare access and quality in underserved regions, the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has teamed up with Beyond Zero to provide scholarship opportunities for a Certificate course in Community Health Nursing, set to commence in March 2024 for the 2023/2024 academic year.
Under this collaborative initiative, priority will be accorded to qualified candidates from selected Arid and Semi-Arid (ASAL) counties, under-served minorities, and other Vulnerable and Marginalized Groups (VMGs) who are willing to serve in their communities post-graduation.

These VMGs are defined by the Ministry of Health Vulnerable and Marginalized Groups Framework (VMGF), accessible via the Ministry of Health Website.
As part of the application process, candidates are required to submit a handwritten essay of up to two hundred (200) words, elucidating their suitability for the scholarship and the contributions they aspire to make to their communities upon graduation. Applications must reach the Chief Executive Officer of KMTC no later than February 26th, 2024.
Successful applicants will be granted full scholarships covering the entire duration of the course. Moreover, female candidates are particularly encouraged to apply, aligning with efforts to promote gender diversity in the healthcare sector.

Creating an Account:
- Visit the KMTC admissions page admissions.kmtc.ac.ke
- If you’ve already registered, log in using your email and password. Otherwise, click on the Register button.
- Fill in your name, email address, and password to create an account.
- Complete the online application form and click SUBMIT.
Application Submission:
- Review the submitted form for accuracy.
- Once satisfied, save changes and proceed to the “Apply Beyond Zero Scholarship” section.
- Fill in the required information and review the Beyond Zero form.
- Print out the completed form, attach relevant documents, sign, stamp accordingly, and send it to: The Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Medical Training College, P.O. Box 30195-00100, NAIROBI
