Kilungu Boys Student’s Death: Autopsy Reveals Natural Infection, Dispelling Bullying Speculations
Form one student Emmanuel Kirimi Kaimenyi, who tragically passed away just ten days after admission to Kilungu Boys School, succumbed to an infection, according to the school’s Board of Management Chairman Kennedy Malinda.
The official statement, released on Sunday, revealed that the cause of death was determined through an autopsy conducted by the Government pathologist at Chiromo Mortuary.

Chairman Malinda stated, “I had promised to issue a statement on the unfortunate incident of our student who passed on at Kilungu Boys School.
The postmortem was done this afternoon at Chiromo Mortuary by the Government pathologist in the presence of all interested parties. The results indicated that it was a natural death caused by an infection.”
The incident unfolded when Emmanuel Kirimi Kaimenyi fell ill on the morning of Thursday, January 25, complaining of stomach pains.
School principal Geoffrey Muema reported that the student, escorted to the toilets by a classmate, suddenly worsened, becoming unconscious.
Two teachers rushed him to Kilungu Sub County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Muema detailed the timeline, stating, “The student requested one of his classmates to escort him to the toilets, and his condition suddenly worsened. He became unconscious and was rushed to a nearby hospital by two teachers.”
Despite efforts by medics at the hospital, the student could not be resuscitated. The principal promptly informed the Education office and reported the sudden death at Kilungu police station.
Following the tragic incident, Muema contacted the student’s father, Joshua Kaimenyi, urging him to come to the school as his son had fallen seriously ill.
The father, who traveled from Isinya in Kajiado County, arrived at Kilungu around 6pm, only to be informed of the heartbreaking news. At that point, the student’s body had already been taken to Kilungu Hospital mortuary.
Contrary to initial speculation of excessive bullying, the autopsy results dispelled those concerns, revealing that the cause of Emmanuel Kirimi Kaimenyi’s untimely death was a natural infection.
