Khalwale’s Children Impress In 2021 KCSE ExamsFormer Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has made headlines yet again after two of his children achieved outstanding results in the recently released 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.The UDA senatorial candidate for Kakamega stated that his two children, Flavia Shimuli Khalwale and Steven Kapten Khalwale, have made him proud as a father.Shimuli, who attended Alliance High School, received an A- (minus), while Kapten, who attended Kakamega High School, received a C+ in the exams released on Saturday, April 23 by Education Cabinet Secretary, George Magoha.“Celebrating twin blessings! My family and I thank God together with the teaching and non teaching staff of Alliance Girls High School and Kakamega High School,” Khalwale posted on his social media platforms.Shimuli received 75 points overall for grades of English A-, Kiswahili A-, Mathematics A-, Biology A-, Physics B+, Chemistry B, Geography A-, and Business Studies B.Kapten scored a B- in English, a B in Kiswahili, a C- in Mathematics, a C- in Biology, a D in Physics, a D+ in Chemistry, a B in History, and a C+ in Business Studies.This announcement comes just a month after he announced that one of his children had excelled in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams.Melissa Khamwenyi, a student at Kakamega Hill Junior School, received 402 points out of a possible 500.In the five-subject test, she received a mean grade of 80.4 points, with four straight As and one B plain.“Melissa Khamwenyi Khalwale INDEX: 37615027005 English – 86(A), Kiswahili – 83(A), Mathematics – 83(A), Science – 66(B), Social Studies and Religious Education – 84(A).
