2021 KCSE: Most Improved Schools Per Region.George Magoha, Cabinet Secretary for Education, congratulated seven schools for showing the greatest improvement in the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.The improvement was measured against the candidates’ mean Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) performance.Here is a breakdown of the schools by region:1. Sigoti Complex Girls Secondary School – NyanzaIn the 2021 KCSE Examination, 1,138 (0.14 percent) candidates received an overall Grade A, compared to 893 (0.12 percent) candidates in 2020.In the year 2021 KCSE Examination, the number of candidates with a minimum university entry qualification of Grade C+ and above increased to 145,145 (17.49 percent) from 143,140 (19.03 percent) in 2020.The proportion of candidates with a mean grade of C+ or higher decreased from 19.03 to 17.49.In 2021, there were 325,896 candidates with a minimum TVET Diploma course qualification of grade C- or higher (39.27 percent ).2021 KCSE: Most Improved Schools Per Region
