The PS expressed concern over the significant investments to safeguard the integrity of examinations, stating that the high expenditure is unnecessary.

He emphasized the need to build trust among the Kenyan people, pointing out that the existing trust deficit is detrimental to everyone. The PS urged for a change in the current situation, stating that, as a country, they should not continue in this manner.

He further mentioned that being present at 6 a.m. to monitor the examination process could be better, and there should be trust that allows children to be children without such stringent measures.

To prevent early exposure to examinations, he acknowledged that it would be difficult for exam center administrators to retrieve papers from the containers twice daily.
