KCPE Results Set To Be Released Tomorrow
Education CS Ezekiel Machogu will release the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination results on Thursday.
Cabinet Secretary (CS) Ezekiel Machogu will preside over the publication of examination results at the new Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) headquarters in South B, Nairobi, per a communication from the Education Ministry.
Machogu stated that all 1.4 million candidates will know their results, ending the scramble for Form One positions.
Mr. Machogu says that the KCPE 2023 examination marking process is complete, officially concluding the highly competitive primary education examinations conducted using the 8-4-4 system.

According to the CS, the public release of the results will facilitate the Form One placement examination. This will occur before the holiday season.
The early release of the KCPE results, according to Machogu, will provide sufficient time for parents to prepare for January 2024 admissions.
Academic terms will commence on January 8, 2024.
The KCPE examination is the final of its kind as the 8-4-4 education system ends.
Thus, as of now, primary schools will function under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
This occurs in the context of the 100 percent transition initiative that former President Uhuru Kenyatta implemented in 2019 and which is maintained under the current administration.

The initiative aims to ensure that every pupil who passes the KCPE advances to secondary school.
Six cases of misconduct, according to Machogu, were re-recorded.
Furthermore, KCSE examinations will conclude on Friday, he added.
Machogu stated that 147 instances of unauthorized material being present in KCSE examination rooms had transpired thus far.
