KASNEB Services to be Offered at Meru Huduma Centre
Meru Huduma Centre is among the centers in Kenya that will benefit from the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board’s (KASNEB) expanded public service delivery.
KASNEB is in charge of preparing and administering exams for diplomas and professional credentials in secretarial courses.
Mr. Peter Mutiso, manager of the Meru Huduma Centre, told KNA that the service will be a game-changer for those who had to travel great distances to have their concerns addressed.
He added that the personnel who will provide services at the location had already been identified and were prepared to begin work.
He reported that the first meeting with the anticipated staff members to address service delivery logistics had already taken place.
“We are expecting the deployment of the staff members in two weeks’ time,” Mr Mutiso said.
He indicated that the facility would provide services such as inquiry, registration, and exam administration.
Mr. Mutiso further explained that the examinations will be administered in June and December of each year.
“We will be able to tell the charges when the service delivery starts officially and the body brings their service charter,” he said.
Additionally, he reminded the residents that the center is normally open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and that they should take advantage of the extended hours to have their concerns addressed.
