Japanese Govt Mext Scholarship For Teacher Training Students; 2023
The Government of Japan offers the Teacher Training Students Scholarship to Kenyan teachers who want to train in Japan.
Eligibility Requirements for the Japanese Govt Mext Scholarship For Teacher Training Students; 2023
To be eligible for the MEXT Scholarship, candidates must meet all of the following criteria:
Language Requirement: English
Countries That Qualify: Every Country in the World
A country with diplomatic relations with Japan must be the applicant’s home country.
At the time of application, a candidate must not have Japanese citizenship.
For Undergraduate Students: You must be at least 17 years old and less than 25 years old, and you must have finished 12 years of schooling or courses at a high school-equivalent institution (includes prospective graduates)
Masters and doctoral students must be under 35 years old and college graduates (includes prospective graduates). Alternatively, you must have completed 16 or 18 years of school.
You must be under 35 years of age and a graduate of a college or teacher training college in order to enroll in teacher training programs. You must have a minimum of five years of teaching experience at a primary, secondary, or teacher training college in your country.
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30 to study Japanese.
Applicants must be enrolled as undergraduate students in faculties or schools that major in Japanese language or Japanese culture at a university outside of Japan at the time they come to Japan.
They must be enrolled at their home institution at the time they return to their home countries.

Application forms completely filled in together with the required documents must be in a sealed envelope to the Embassy of Japan no later than 10 February 2023.
NB: a medical certificate shall be necessary only at the time of exam and interview.Email submission will not be acceptable.
