Jambojet, a Kenyan airline, has formed a partnership with Crown Paints Limited to provide scholarships to financially challenged students at Kibos School for the Blind.

This collaboration builds on Jambojet’s three-year sponsorship of the school, during which they purchased braille papers, three braille machines, and provided food assistance.

Karanja Ndegwa, Jambojet’s CEO and Managing Director, explained during an event held at Crown Paints’ headquarters that, for each station they visit, they identify an institution that needs support.

For Kisumu, they identified Kibos School for the Blind, which required food assistance and other support.

As part of their efforts to support the school, Jambojet and Crown Paints will undertake a face-lift of the institution. Crown Paints’ CEO, Dr Rakesh Rao, emphasized that promoting education and youth empowerment is the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility.

The company aims to create a platform where students can apply for sponsorship, thereby focusing on Kenya’s future through the youth.

The partnership between Jambojet, Crown Paints, and Kibos School for the Blind demonstrates the importance of corporate social responsibility in promoting education and youth empowerment.

This initiative will help financially challenged students access quality education, and the face-lift of the school will improve its learning environment.

By sponsoring education and empowering youth, both Jambojet and Crown Paints are helping to build a stronger and more prosperous Kenya.

The partnership serves as a testament to the impact that businesses can have on their local communities by investing in education and social programs. Through such collaborations, businesses can leverage their resources and expertise to create a positive impact on society.
