How to apply For TSC Replacement Vacancies Online 2022
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) announced mass recruitment of teachers on Wednesday, January 19.
Nancy Macharia, TSC’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), confirmed that the commission was hiring 2,945 teachers.
TSC will hire 2,053 primary school teachers and 892 secondary school teachers as part of the national recruitment drive.
TSC stated that the recruitment drive will allow the commission to replace employees who left the practice due to natural attrition.
These people include those who were fired, retired, declared redundant, or died in 2021.
Primary school vacancies were classified by county. Kiambu (120), Kakamega (104), and Bungoma (96) will receive the most primary school teachers.
Secondary school slots, on the other hand, were specific to the institution and subject. This information will be posted on TSC’s official website.
How to apply For TSC Replacement Vacancies Online 2022
All applicants must be Kenyan citizens with a TSC number.
Candidates who are interested should create an account on the TSC Online portal, teachersonline.tsc.go.ke.
To create an account, teachers must update their academic credentials, which must include primary and secondary school certificates as well as tertiary level certificates.
Applicants for primary school positions must hold a Primary Teacher Education (PTE) Certificate (P1 certificate) from KNEC or a Bachelors of Education degree (Primary education) from a university recognized by the Kenyan government (with 2 teaching subjects.).
A Diploma in Education from a recognized teacher training institution is required for secondary school teachers.

They must have a minimum mean grade of C+ in KCSE or its equivalent (one principle and two subsidiaries in A-level) and a minimum C+ or credit pass in the two teaching subjects.

A. Primary Teachers Online Application
– Click Career then Teachers/Secretariat then CLICK apply for teachers
Recruitment/Internship. The screen below will be displayed.

– Type in the TSC No, ID number and mobile and choose your selection either
primary or secondary by clicking the drop down menu as shown below and
click ok

– The sms code from TSC Kenya will be send to the applicant mobile phone
and the screen below will appear
4. Type in the sms code as shown below and click ok
5. The screen below will be displayed. Click on Apply/view as shown below
6. The screen below will be displayed where the applicant will fill in the details
– Choose the Ref from the dropdown as shown and fill the other details not
auto filled and click ok
8. The screen below will be displayed. Click yes as shown

applicants.

B. Secondary teachers Online Application
– Click Career then Teachers/Secretariat then CLICK apply for teachers

– The sms code from TSC Kenya will be send to the applicant mobile phone
and the screen below will appear
4. Type in the SMS code as shown below and click ok as shown
– The screen below will be displayed for secondary teacher. Click on
Apply/view as shown below.
6. The screen below will be displayed where the applicant will fill in the details.
– Choose the Ref from the dropdown as shown and fill the other details not
auto filled and click ok as shown below. Click the button +click here to
apply a school as shown
8. On clicking +click here to apply to a school the screen below is displayed
– Choose the subjects, county, sub county and school and click ok as
shown below.
– The screen below is displayed showing the date, county, sub county,
school and stage of the application
11. The teacher can apply for several vacancies as shown below. CLICK OK.
12. The screen below is displayed then CLICK yes as shown.
13. The screen below is displayed and the application is completed.
