How to Apply for TSC Replacement Vacancies for Teachers in Primary, Junior Schools, and Secondary schools.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced 2,014 replacement vacancies for teachers who have exited the service due to natural attrition. These include 1,309 positions in primary schools, 32 in junior schools, and 673 in secondary schools. Successful applicants will be appointed on permanent and pensionable terms.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Be Kenyan citizens.
- Hold a P1 certificate for primary school positions or a Diploma in Education for junior and secondary school posts.
- Be registered teachers with the Teachers Service Commission.
Application Procedure
Candidates who meet the requirements must apply online via the TSC website (www.tsc.go.ke) under the ‘Careers’ section or through teachersonline.tsc.go.ke. The application deadline is midnight on Monday, 19th May 2025.

General Information for Applicants
- The 2024/2025 TSC Recruitment Guidelines will govern the entire process.
- Shortlisted individuals will be required to produce original academic and professional certificates during interviews.
- Candidates are advised to submit only one Application for Employment Form, as submitting multiple forms will lead to disqualification.
- Manual submissions will not be accepted.
- Priority will be given to applicants who have never been employed by the Commission.
