The business number is 820201, followed by the account number, which comprises your KCSE examination year followed by your 11-Digit Index Number. It’s important to note that Choice 1 (a), (b), and (c) should represent a single course but in different institutions, while Choices 2 to 6 can encompass various courses within your preferred institution, both for degree and diploma programs.

Moreover, it’s highlighted that only public universities and colleges are eligible for government scholarships and Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) loans.

This guidance from KUCCPS follows closely after the recent release of the 2023 KCSE and KCSE result slips by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC). KNEC has advised candidates to collect their result slips from their respective institutions. Additionally, approximately 900,000 candidates sat for the 2023 KCSE examinations, with only 201,000 meeting the minimum university entry grade of C+.
