How To Access KPSEA Exam Results

On Tuesday, January 17, Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu will present the results of the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) for 2022.

Machogu declared at the KICD that the marking was complete and the results would be posted on the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) website.

“I am happy to announce that the exercise has already been completed and that schools will be able to access the reports through the KNEC portal from tomorrow, Tuesday 17,” he declared.

Machogu stated that learners who sat the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) exam will transit on to junior secondary school.

On Monday, he spoke during a press event regarding the release of Form One placement results at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) in Nairobi.

“1,253, 577 learners who sat for Kpsea in 32,555 centered will transit to junior secondary,” he said.

David Njengere, CEO of KNEC, stated in December that the results will be presented in three reports.

This follows suggestions by the education review team to eliminate KPSEA as a seventh-grade placement tool.

“We will get back to KICD and tell them areas that need to be adjusted in the curriculum designs, and we will do the same with TSC,” Njengere said.
