Dear Principal,
We extend our warm greetings and have the pleasure to invite Bugi Girls’ High School to participate in the Annual Mathematics Contest at Gitugi Girls High School in Murang’a on Saturday, 25th MAY 2024, starting at 7:00 a.m. Registration will close at 11:30 a.m.
The objective of this contest is to demystify and popularize Mathematics among students, aiming to enhance the overall performance of the subject within the country. Additionally, we aim to foster collaboration among teachers and students, providing a platform for the sharing of experiences. Following the completion of the paper, an examiner will engage with the candidates.
Contest Details:
- Date: Saturday, 25th MAY 2024
- Time: 7:00 a.m. (Registration closes at 11:30 a.m.)
Participation Guidelines:
- Each participating team will pay Sh 3,000.
- Each team should comprise 4 Form Fours, 3 Form Threes, 2 Form Twos, and 1 Form One student, totaling 10 students per set.
- The contest will cover topics up to:
- Form 1: Linear Equations
- Form 2: Area of Part of a Circle
- Form 3: Matrices
- Form 4: (excluding Calculus)
Please note that Gitugi Girls High School will not provide meals for your students, so we recommend making your own arrangements.
