Expressing profound distress, the parents are questioning the handling of their son’s health situation, suspecting potential mishandling.
Initially informed that Emmanuel had been taken to the hospital due to a stomach ache, the family discovered visible facial injuries, particularly on his forehead, upon inspecting the body.
The school administration has refrained from disclosing whether the injuries resulted from a fight, a fall, or an instance of bullying before his hospitalization.
According to Citizen TV’s findings, the 15-year-old was initially admitted to a private hospital before being transferred to Kilungu Level Three Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Goeffrey Muema, the principal of Kilungu Boys High School, stated that they followed standard procedures when a student falls ill, expressing equal shock upon learning of the boy’s demise from the hospital.
In response to the tragedy, the family has decided to move Emmanuel’s body to Chiromo mortuary for a post-mortem examination scheduled for Monday to determine the cause of death.
Meanwhile, detectives have initiated investigations into the circumstances surrounding the young boy’s untimely demise.
