Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha has set May 3 as the deadline for Form One students to report.
Magoha stated during the launch of the Form One Selection process that no student should be turned away due to a fee balance.
He also urged parents to pay only the fee set by the Ministry of Education.
Education CS George Magoha has announced that the KCPE candidates who took the 2021 KCPE this year have been assigned to various secondary schools.
To find out which schools the 2021 KCPE candidates were assigned to, Education CS George Magoha asked parents to text their index number to 22263 to find out which school their children were assigned to.
“The 2021 KCPE candidates can now check which school they have been selected to by sending their index numbers to 22263.” – CS George Magoha.
The SMS platform is available for all mobile networks and will cost Sh25 per message.
According to Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha, 38,797 candidates who sat for their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations in 2021 have been admitted to National Schools.
The Education CS stated during the form One selection process at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development that an additional 214,960 students have been placed in Extra-County schools.
He stated that 2,045 students would attend special needs schools, while 218, 456 would attend County Schools.
