Drunk Police Officer Arrested at Exam Center in Narok

A police officer assigned to provide security during the just concluded KCPE and KPSEA exams at Kapsinendet Primary in Transmara East Sub County in Narok was arrested after he reported to the school while drunk and carrying a bottle of alcohol.

According to Transmara East Sub-county Deputy County Commissioner Solomon Mpamale, a worried teacher at the school informed the education office, where a team of security officers headed by the local OCPD rushed to the school and discovered the officer in a precarious position.

Mpampale stated that, following consultation with his security team, the officer was promptly arrested and disarmed before being detained at the Emurua Dikirr police station.

After the arrest, another officer was assigned to provide the same services, and normalcy was restored with no disruption to the examinations.

Mpampale also reported that two female KPSEA candidates are writing their examinations at a level four hospital in Emurua Dikiir because they are experiencing labor pains.
