Dear Sir/Madam,

Chuka High School cordially invites your school to participate in our Annual Technical Subjects contest, featuring Business Studies, Agriculture, Computer Studies, and Drawing & Design, scheduled for Sunday, 17th March 2024, commencing at 8:00 am.

The examination papers will be marked, analyzed, and results released on the same day, with awards presented to the best-performing students and schools in each category.

Details of the Contest:

• Each team should comprise seven students (Four Form Four students and Three Form Three students).
• The registration fee for each team is Kshs 2500.
• Schools can register as many teams as desired.
• Top-performing students will receive rewards.
• Teachers from participating schools will assist in the marking process.

Activities of the Day:

a. Contest examination

b. Symposium for learners to discuss a set of questions

c. KCSE examiners per subject guiding students

d. Career guidance sessions by tertiary institutions.

Subjects and Scope of the Examination:

1. Agriculture: Form 3 – Paper 1 (Form 1 and 2 work), Form 4 – Up to farm power and machinery
2. Computer Studies: Form 3 – Up to Data Representation, Form 4 – Up to Networking & Data Comm
3. Business Studies: Form 3 – Up to Size & Location of a Firm, Form 4 – Paper 1 (Plane Geometry, Loci, Solid Geometry)
4. Drawing & Design: Form 3 – Up to Financial Statements, Form 4 – Paper 1 (all topics)
