Bungoma School Heads Turns to Alumni for Students Funding as Numbers Rise
A group of school heads in Bungoma county is currently making an appeal to former students to step forward and contribute towards covering the educational expenses of deserving and bright students who, unfortunately, find themselves unable to enroll in Form One.
Expressing their concerns, the educators emphasized that they find themselves in a challenging situation due to a lack of adequate funding for scholarships and essential infrastructure from governmental sources.
Consequently, they are struggling to provide the necessary support to students in need.

The school heads underscored the importance of proactive parental involvement, urging parents to take the initiative in seeking ways to financially support their children’s education.
They stressed that waiting until the last minute to seek assistance from schools and philanthropic individuals is not a sustainable approach.
This appeal comes at a time when Bungoma County has been identified as one of the regions grappling with a significant number of students who have not yet commenced their Form One education.
