Babu Owino Appointed to University of Weldios Governing Board in Benin
Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has been appointed to the governing board of the University of Weldios in Benin, West Africa, as announced on Thursday, February 8.
The institution cited his excellence, panache, and skill as contributing factors to this appointment, along with his strength of character, integrity, and track record of beneficial contributions to society.

This appointment follows closely after the MP was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Political Leadership by Weldios University on November 12, 2023.

He emphasized his commitment to offering his generation’s ideas and insights about the future, highlighting the importance of ideas in fostering development and serving society and humanity, particularly in Africa.
