There are some prerequisites for enhancement courses that you must meet. You must have received a C+ on average in your KCSE exams.
You must also have a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from a recognized university.

To enhance a subject, you must have at least a C+ in the two teaching subjects in which you wish to specialize. In addition, you must have completed the subject up to form 4 level.
The best part is that those who want to improve in subjects like agriculture, business studies, home science, and computer science can do so even if they did not study these subjects in form 4 level.
If you want to enhance in Business Studies and Computer, you must have at least a C+ in Mathematics in KCSE.
A minimum of C+ in Biology in KCSE is required for Agriculture and Home Science course enhancement.
The minimum number of course units that must be enhanced is nine, which includes teaching methods for each of the two subjects that a teacher is authorized to teach.
Failure to complete the enhancement course modules on time is a violation of the TSC code of conduct.
