200,000 Teachers Trained On CBC – TSC
In preparation for Grade Six learning, at least 200,000 teachers have been trained on the Competency-Based Curriculum.
According to Nancy Macharia, CEO of the Teachers Service Commission, the Ministry of Education is working to ensure a smooth learning transition for students as they progress to the next grade level.
She stated that more teachers will be trained beginning in April in preparation for the next grade levels.
The CBC curriculum’s pioneer group, now in Grade Five, is expected to advance to Grade Six on April 27, when schools reopen for the new academic year.
