17 Pupils, 4 Teachers Injured After School Bus Overturns.On Tuesday, a school bus from Njema Falls Academy overturned near Kabare on the Rukenya-Kimunye road in Gichugu, Kirinyaga County, injuring 17 students and four teachers on board.Gichugu sub-county Police Commander Anthony Mbogo confirmed the incident, saying the bus was transporting students and teachers back to school when it lost control on the busy road.Mbogo stated that Good Samaritans rushed to the scene and assisted in removing the students and teachers from the bus, after which they were taken to the Kerugoya Referral Hospital.He stated that 15 students and four teachers were treated and released, while two other students remain hospitalized.The police chief also urged drivers to drive cautiously as the rain continued, noting that the school bus had been towed to Kianyaga Police Station for inspection.ALSO READ:17 Pupils, 4 Teachers Injured After School Bus Overturns
