13-Year-Old Pupil Commits Suicide in Narok County
Police in Emurua Dikirr, Narok County have initiated an investigation following the tragic suicide of a 13-year-old Grade 8 pupil at Changina area.
The body of the deceased was discovered hanging from a tree branch within their homestead, with a rope around his neck, as reported by Boniface Kavoo, the Trans Mara East Sub-county Police boss.

Reportedly, the deceased, a pupil at Changina Primary School, had a dispute with his elder brother prior to the incident. His mother found his body after he failed to appear for breakfast at the usual time, raising suspicions.
Upon inspection, Mr. Kavoo mentioned that aside from minor bruises around the neck where the rope was fastened, there were no other physical injuries on the body. No suicide note was found at the scene.

The mother of the deceased, unable to comprehend the tragedy, described it as deeply unfortunate, asserting that her son had no significant conflicts within the family.
Following protocols, the police processed the scene before transferring the body to Kapkatet Hospital morgue.
