10 African Countries With The Most Universities.

We recently published an article on the latest university rankings.

Based on how well it was received by our readers, we thought it would be a good idea to follow up with another article examining the ten African countries with the most universities.

Many tertiary institutions, particularly universities, can be found in Africa, with a few of them ranking among the best in the world. This should come as no surprise.

After all, the continent is home to over 1 billion people who have the right to Education.

Before we reveal the list of African countries with the most universities, it is important to note that having the most universities does not always imply having more educated citizens.

Furthermore, the fact that a country has the most universities in comparison to others does not necessarily imply that all of the universities in the country are of high quality.

To elaborate, Equatorial Guinea is known for having some of the most literate people in Africa.

Despite this, the country has only one university, the National University of Equatorial Guinea.

South Africa, likewise, has some of the best universities on the African continent. However, the total number of universities in that country is more than half that of Nigeria.

Despite this, we should not dismiss the significance of higher concentrations of universities in some countries.
